Hi, I’m Beth. For over 15 years I’ve been the human behind the scenes — helping cats feel safe while their people are away, and helping humans understand the little things that turn stress into trust.

This book grew out of hundreds of client questions, thousands of cat visits, and more “uh-oh” moments than I care to count. It’s practical. It’s kind. And it won’t tell you to use a spray bottle (ever).

I also write a mentoring series called Field Notes, which turns my most meaningful cases into bite-sized training moments for sitters, shelter teams, and animal care pros.
